Bicycles and Scooters
Only Year 3-6 children may ride their bikes/scooters to school. This rule is in line with Transport for NSW’s Early Childhood Road Safety Education Program, which states "children under 9 years do not have a fully developed peripheral vision to cope with fast approaching traffic."
Bikes and scooters are placed in a bike rack outside the library.
Catching a bus
Public transport is a great way to safely get to and from school.
Contact us to learn about catching the bus.
Apply for a travel pass
Eligible students can get a free travel pass under the School Student Transport Scheme. Apply for a travel pass today.
Driving and parking
The start and end of the school day are busy times for pedestrians and drivers outside schools.
When driving and parking near our school, please:
- ensure you park safely in school zones
- follow speed signs
- do not make U-turns or 3-point turns outside the school.
Parking on school grounds
Please note that parking is not available for parents/carers in the school grounds. Parents/carers and children should not walk through the staff car park.
Students and parents/carers should enter the school grounds via pedestrian gates. Double parking and parking in restricted areas (including in the bus bay) is prohibited and extremely dangerous to those children who use the school crossing. Police and parking officers also patrol the area from time to time.
